JP Morgan To Hire 6000 Openings for Emerging Technology Roles
The company currently employs 40,000 people in operations and technology across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Each of these centers is critical to the global operations of the investment bank.
Lori Beer, chief information officer for JP Morgan Chase’s global region, stated that they would be hiring in the fields of machine learning, artificial intelligence, cyber security, cloud architecture, data engineering, and even data science.
In addition, JP Morgan is hiring engineers for infrastructure software with an extensive collection of cloud-based private platforms.
Artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, cloud computing, architecture, and data science are among the areas of employment at JPMorgan Chase, said Lori Beer, Chief Information Officer Global.
The largest bank in the United States, JP Morgan, spends $11.2 billion annually on technology, an increase of $9.5 billion since 2020. The majority of this money is going to programs designed to “transform the banking system”.
In a recent conference call with investors, JP Morgan’s CEO Jamie Dimon stated that the bank is planning to move 30%-50 percent of its data and software in the cloud.
Mr. Beer added that Indian teams collaborate across multiple regions. Most of the teams that collaborate are located in India.
The India teams use intelligence to develop new wealth capabilities for customers and migrate strategic platforms. JP Morgan is investing in the capabilities and platforms that go beyond the commercial side of banking.
