Job Description:
- Manage the account by coordinating with the concerned stakeholders on the account
- Ensure deliverables meet the quality specifications as agreed upon and prompt service delivery
- Plan for the account, conduct market analysis, competitive activity analysis, and identify on business building opportunities
- Keep client updated about the deliverable/project status, seek and receive client feedback
- Constantly update the product delivery team regarding client needs and ensure the deliverable is in sync with the requirements
- Ensure generation/maintenance of database for assigned and potential clients
- Prepare and submit tenders/proposal on the basis of customer specifications/RFQs
- Do a regular follow-up on BD proposals till conversion, and identify reasons for non-conversion, where applicable.
- Identify opportunities for potential customer generation and expand customer base through direct marketing
- Maintain communication channels with existing customers
- Manage and communicate with stakeholders of existing accounts
- Formulate value propositions for the customers
- Maximize product awareness by educating customers with product information.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Manage allocated accounts and keep in touch with the customer regularly
- Respond to customer queries
- Plan and conduct customer engagement activities in order to strengthen customer ties
- Ensure proactive recognition of customer requirements and provide them with solutions catering to their needs
- Update customers on a timely basis on the delivery status as per the schedule and manage any deviations
- Service Support: Coordinate with other departments (Production/CSD) to resolve customer complaints and after sales support
Payment Collection :
- Ensure submission of invoices to customers
- Assist senior management in defining the terms and conditions of payment
- Assist in realization of payments in time from customers
- Collect relevant payment related documents from the customers, such as Bank Guarantee, C Form, TDS certificate etc.
Operational Activities :
- Prepare Bill of Material (BOM) for the orders received
- Negotiate with customers on the quotation in line with the company mandate given
- Ensure submission of necessary documents to the customers such as warranty certificate, test certificate, dispatch copy etc.
- Draft the POT (Purchase Order Transmitter) based on PO received from customers
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers after requisite approvals
Market Intelligence MIS and Reporting :
- Keep a track of market, customer and competitor development
- Prepare and submit daily activity report
- Generate Target vs. Achievement report on a quarterly and an annual basis
- Prepare sales forecast report
