Job Description:
- support instrument and data sourcing, including the setup and maintenance of various instrument types
- ensure data integrity of vendor data feeding internal systems.
- proactively identify and resolve potential problems and risks before they arise and escalating issues in a timely manner when appropriate.
- be involved in data projects, providing reports or business analysis to support the implementation of new system flows.
- contribute to the maintenance of the knowledge base of procedures to ensure high-levels of cross-training and standardization.
Requirements:
- a university degree in an analytical field like business or finance or information technology
- an understanding of major security asset classes (equities, bonds, futures and OTC instruments) and key data attributes associated with them
- strong communication skills, verbal and written
- excellent problem-solving skills
- working knowledge of leading market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Simcorp Dimension) is a plus
- proficiency in Excel macros, Alteryx and basic SQL are preferred
