Job Description:
- We are looking for Freshers/College Grads/with 1-2 years experienced candidates with relevant skills & good grades in Computer Sciences or Information Technology for the Junior Engineer, SRE position.
- Junior SRE is primarily responsible for monitoring, first-level support & basic troubleshooting of technical issues, providing timely customer feedback, and supporting the roll-out of new applications, among other duties.
Requirements:
- 24x7x365 Alarm Monitoring.
- First Level Handling of Incident Management & Basic Troubleshooting.
- Performing Daily & Shift-wise Health Checks.
- Coordination & Follow-ups on RCA for Closure.
- Timely Escalation over communication channels as per Urgency & Priority.
- Reports & Handover on a Daily/shift Basis for Alarms & KPI’s.
- Coordination for Maintenance/Replacement Work.
- Proactive Participation during the ERT/Outages.
- Coordinate with Product Business Units, and Support Office Teams to support the existing Production Environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in managing operating systems, incident response, and VPN systems.
- Good Understanding of SDLC.
- A collaborator with demonstrated multitasking and time management skills.
- Skilled at writing protocols and process analysis.
- Passion for learning & analytical mindset with an eye for solving problems and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of Linux, Kubernetes, Application Software and Enterprise Compute.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Certification in ITIL, Linux & Kubernetes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Willing to work night shifts on a rotation basis.
- Ideally One to two years of experience preferable.
