Job Description:
- As part of the role, system engineer shall be responsible and would be involved in Requirement engineering, Use case / Scenario development, Architecture design definition and optimisation, prototyping for new technology/tool adoption, development of in-house components, system validation including performance validation, take engineering decisions throughout complete life cycle of products, manage stakeholders, constantly align architecture and engineering teams to defined project goals and objectives.
- System engineer shall work closely with several stakeholders to guide products from conception to launch. As part of the high-performance team, you will bridge the technical and business worlds as you design vehicles that our customers aspire.
- You’ll work with some of the most talented team of engineers.
- As an system engineer, you will be an integral part of shaping JLR’s next generation vehicle programs.

Requirements:
- Should have worked in a complex onboard automotive project owning the responsibility for design and implementation
- Detailed working knowledge of Agile scrum methodologies and continuous S/W integration are essential.
- Familiarity with ASIL and ISO26262 standards.
- Working knowledge of AUTOSAR/QNX and LINUX base systems
- Audio DSP architecture and workflow knowledge
- 8+ years of C/C++ or other structured language
- Expertise in Assembly language
- 8+ years of experience in the DSP and/or audio field
- Experience developing consumer products
- Deep knowledge of filtering, speech processing, noise control and telecommunications algorithms in both time and frequency domains
- Strong understanding of DSP frameworks and how individual DSP algorithms interface and interact with each other, the control software and tool interfaces in an optimized way
- Experience with tuning/calibrating systems of algorithms
- Knowledge of features, strengths and weaknesses of various DSP platforms and algorithm approaches
Responsibilities:
- Creation and Adaptation of TDM formats and detailed design
- Adjustment of signal flow
- Management of functional and Non function requirements for the assigned functional area
- Definition of high-level design (HLD) and System interactions for the defined uses cases
- Identification of the software components and assign requirements to each component
- Definition of quality attributes for subsystem realising functional area of expertise
- Definition of acceptance test cases for the area of expertise
- Resolve technical challenges faced in responsible areas
