Job Description:
- Create and maintain optimal ETL and Data pipelines architecture on Bigdata framework.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Hive queries.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders with ETL and data-related technical issues and support their infrastructure needs.
- Should be capable of working independently & responsible for L1/L2/L3 Support.
- Customer oriented and willing to work in 24/7 shift mode.
- Should work with complete ownership and handle all issues without missing SLA’s
- Should be able to debug the issues and report appropriately in the ticketing system
- Handover the shift and circulate a daily report to project team.
- Contribute to improve the efficiency of the assignment by quality improvements & innovative suggestions.
Requirements:
- BE/MCA with good academic track record (>60% in 10/12/G/PG)
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Scala, PySpark, Spark SQL, Hive, Yarn etc.
- Experience building and optimizing big data ETL and Data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
- Experience with ETL and Data pipeline workflow management tools: Autosys, TWS, Airflow, etc.
- Experience with designing complex SQL for RDBMS and BigData data operations.
- Experience with working on large scale On-Premises ETL and Data servers.
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases and familiarity with a variety of databases (Teradata, Vertica, Oracle, Hive etc).
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with datasets.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
- Strong team player, proactive, good in communication and coordination.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
