Job Description:
- Manage Specification, design, development, code reviews, design review, and debugging of scalable and high-performance service-based web applications.
- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels.
- Identify and communicate project scope and ensure release milestones and objectives are met with delivering a high-quality product release.
- Take accountability for moving the key business metrics within your area Provide thought partnership to the product team and ensure collaboration among product, engineering, and business operation teams.
- Analyze problems and drive long-term technology solutions to evolve the product scalability, performance, reliability, and supportability
Requirements:
- Engineering/ Master s degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in software development and delivery, with in-depth knowledge of software architectures; must have at least 3 years of experience in leading small and mid-sized development teams.
- Strong systems design experience, having scaled distributed systems/microservices in products; experience going through the full software cycle: designing, coding/testing, and rolling out best practices in delivering world-class software and services.
- Must be articulate, organized, and detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment.
- Solid programming skills in Java.
- A track record and passion for improving the code structure and architecture to enhance testability and maintainability.
- Candidates with the latest programming language exposure in addition to C++ is an add-on.
- Excellent people/leadership skills to grow and guide your team members; a passion for your team’s mission and a self-starting personality to make things happen.
- Great project management skills to lead and juggle multi-engineer projects and deliver high-quality projects on time.
- Strong experience handling large data (batch and real-time), workflows and scheduling, building pluggable frameworks and systems, and strong abstraction, and design skills.
- Strong partnership with product and business teams that demonstrates effective collaboration and communication across multiple stakeholders.
